You will require some previous knowledge of Number and Algebra.

Real life applications will be included in most of the areas covered.

  • Explore shape and space in everyday life (Geometry).
  • Investigate angles and shapes.
  • Discover Pythagoras’ Theorem.
  • Apply trigonometry to right-angled triangles.
  • To infinity and beyond.............................

Equipment needed:

A ruler, pencil, scientific calculator, protractor and a pair of scissors (to cut paper).

Progress in Maths mostly relies upon prior knowledge and skills, so regular attendance is recommended. The fee for this group will therefore be a single payment for the five sessions of £10.
