Meetings are held on a monthly basis. Meeting Area: Various places, sometimes Zoom. Meeting Day: Thursdays PM Social History This will be a group which will look at the history of peoples’ everyday life from the 19th to early 20th century. We will look at the way people lived their lives – housing, education, leisure and sport, health, work, marriage. The study would also involve looking at movements in literature, art and design, and at government polices and political ideas. We could look at each aspect in depth and it would involve members being involved in investigations of their own. History is not just about Kings and Queens and Battles!! There is no waiting list for the Social History group at the moment, everyone is welcome. Meeting Area: Swansea Marina Area. Meeting Day: Thursdays PM |
